The No. 6 seeded Grand Meadow girls basketball team beat No. 3 Houston (21-7 overall) 49-45 in  a Section 1A quarterfinal in Rochester Lourdes Monday.

The Superlarks (18-9 overall) will take on No. 2 Fillmore Central in Mayo Civic Center at 1:30 p.m. Saturday.
