The Lyle-Pacelli boys basketball team won its last home game of the season when it beat Mabel-Canton (3-20 overall, 1-15 SEC) 85-44 in Pacelli Monday.

Freshman Buay Koak scored 34 points for the Athletics (16-6 overall, 10-4 SEC) and Zach Bollingberg scored 19 points in the absence of Cole Walter, who was out with an illness.

“Zach shot extremely well tonight and he really picked up the slack for Cole,” L-P head coach Scott Koenigs said. “They didn’t have an answer for our freshman (Koak). He continues to get better and be more confident.”
