The date is almost here.

On Wednesday, Feb. 26, we will be hosting our annual Winter Coffee Party. Lets say it’s what us area folks would call “Not Snowbirds Coffee.”

Invite a friend and come and enjoy some hot coffee or other beverage and a treat. Sign-up for door prizes too. Sign-ups will also begin that day as we unveil our schedule of travel for 2020.

This year we have brought back some trips which you have requested ,including popular trips like the John Deere Plant in Waterloo, Iowa, US Bank Stadium Stadium tour and the Minnesota Arboretum.

Many new trips include dinner shows, riverboat dinner cruise, the circus and perhaps some sports events.  Another popular destination is  Branson, Missouri. This year will be in conjunction with a visit to Kansas City.

We will be open from 9 a.m. until noon on Wednesday.  Besides the schedules, we will also have a calendar for this year’s activity. We welcome all to join us. Members of the Mower County Senior Center will receive monthly newsletters with a travel page included.
