Catherine E. Slezak, 80, of Austin, Minnesota, passed away on Wednesday, March 25, 2020, at the Adams Health Care Center.
Catherine was born on Oct. 25, 1939, in Faribault, Minnesota, to Lawrence and Isabel (Wagner) Barry. She attended Bethlehem Academy.

On Sept. 5, 1959, Catherine married Richard J. Slezak in Faribault. Catherine enjoyed doing crossword puzzles, watching cooking shows and crime shows, playing cards, camping and spending time with her children and grandchildren. She loved to travel and was fortunate enough to travel to Spain, France, Italy, Monaco, Niger and New Orleans, Louisiana.
Catherine is survived by her children, Kevin Slezak, Austin, Catherine Arkells (Arnold) Lyle, Minnesota, JulieAnn Scott (Brett), Liberty, Missouri, Richard A. Slezak, Austin, Holly Murphy (Patrick), Austin, and Scott Slezak (Katherine), Austin; grandchildren, Jennifer Slezak, Josh Slezak, Nick Slezak, Cody Weatherly, Alicia Holten (Michael), Isabel Arkells, JulieAnne Arkells, Miranda Arkells, Nicholas Arkells, Ciera Scott, Alex Scott, Blake Scott, Patrick Murphy, Tanner Murphy and Emilie Slezak; great-grandchildren, Michael Slezak, Logan Slezak, Isaac Olson, Jackson Slezak, Owen and Ryan Slezak; and brothers, Harold Barry, Lawrence Barry (Judy) and Michael Barry (Carol). She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Richard; sister, Mary; and brothers, Robert, Patrick, Richard and William.
