Number of COVID-19 cases rises by 25

The Minnesota Department of Health reported Wednesday that the number of COVID-19 cases rose by 25 across the state.
This raises the total number of cases to 287, up from 262 on Tuesday. The state continues pushing forward with tests as the MDH has reported that 6,365 tests have been completed by its department and another 5,110 have been completed by external laboratories.
In Mower County, the number of cases remains steady at six. Statewide, there have been 35 cases requiring hospitalization and one death. There are currently 26 cases currently hospitalized.
However, state officials are using caution. A Minnesota Public Radio story reported that the number of cases statewide could be at least 10 times higher.
Nationwide there are 46,481 cases with a large number of the cases being in New York (23,230), New Jersey (2,844), California (2,220). There have been 593 deaths to date.
