As a cold front slides through the area, the National Weather Service has issued a winter weather advisory through 7 p.m. tonight.
Rain will increase throughout the day and combined with dipping temperatures will transition to freezing rain, sleet and eventually snow. Bridges, trees and power lines could see a possible ice accumulation of up to a tenth of an inch. Snow could accumulate to half an inch.
Temperatures are expected to top out at 33 degrees and slide to 23 degrees into the overnight hours.
But never fear, the NWS is predicting sunny skies Saturday and Sunday with temperatures ranging between 45 and 55 degrees during the day.
