The First Congressional District Democratic Farmer Labor Party announced Sunday that Dan Feehan has received the endorsement of the DFL Party as its candidate for United States House of Representatives.

The DFL held an online convention with balloting taking place over a 10-day period. The ballots were tabulated Sunday with Feehan receiving the endorsement.

“The First Congressional District is excited to have Dan Feehan as our candidate,” First Congressional District DFL Chair Jim Hepworth said in a press release. “Dan will represent all of the constituents of the First Congressional District. Dan has been a schoolteacher, a soldier, worked at the Pentagon and is a husband and father of three children.”

Feehan and his family currently reside in North Mankato.

“Dan Feehan will bring integrity, thoughtful decision-making and energy to the United States Congress,” Hepworth said.
