I longed to be able to sleep like a lamb;

Seeking the right pillow, I was in a jam;

I recalled Minnesota “ads” — way up north;

There’s one called Hormel always proving its worth;

And, Yes! That famous “My Pillow” monogram.

So I called My Pillow and said, “Oh, Please ma’am,

Send a pillow”… (I’m now hoping it’s no scam!)

I soon got it and began to sleep quite well,

But kept on dreaming of that place called Hormel.

I could not clear my mind of their beef and ham.

Soon it dawned on me: “Could this still be a sham?”

I wondered: “What stuffing did they use to cram?”

I took the pillow and shook it up and down;

Sure ‘nough: no feathers, nor any kind of down!

Wanting it or not! It was packed tight with SPAM!
