The Minnesota Department of Health on Tuesday confirmed an additional 11 cases of COVID-19 in Mower County, bringing the county’s total to 813 since March 19.

According to Community Health Division Manager Pam Kellogg, that number contains some, but not all of the 38 cases confirmed so far from this past weekend’s testing event at the Mower County Fairgrounds. Of the 2,059 tests conducted during the event, 2,022 had been completed as of Tuesday morning.

Mower County is still ranked ninth among Minnesota counties with the highest number of cases.
