Pamela J. Hanson, 62

Pamela Jean Hanson passed away on Thursday, June 18th, 2020 at the Mayo Clinic in Austin, MN while holding the hand of her husband of 35 years, Donald Hanson.

Pamela was born on November 20th, 1957 in St. Peters, MN. She spent her life selflessly loving and caring for others. Pam generously donated her time to numerous service programs, such as teaching Sunday School at her church, taking care of hospice patients, and visiting the elderly.

In her free time, she enjoyed baking, planting flowers, taking care of her grandchildren, and spending time with her family. She graduated from Lyle High School in 1976, obtained a degree in Cosmetology and held an Associate’s Degree in Human Services from Riverland Community College. She also pursued a degree in Sociology from Winona State University. She spent the majority of her career working alongside her husband inside of their family business, Hanson Construction & Specialty Cabinets. She also worked as a Cook for many years at the Adams Health Care Center and the Adams Group Home.

Pamela is survived by her husband, Donald; 3 sons, Josh (Laura), Jordan (Stephanie), Jameson (Bryten); 3 grandchildren, Nora, Hoyt, Amelia; brother, Gaylord (One); many nieces and nephews.

A public visitation will be held on Thursday, June 25th from 4:00-7:00pm at the Adams Funeral Home located at 300 West Main Street in Adams, MN. The Funeral will be on Friday, June 26th at 11:00am at Faith Lutheran Church located at 11690 903rd Ave in Glenville, MN.

All friends and family members are invited to attend, but the family will be understanding of anyone’s concerns related to the COVID-19 Pandemic. Attendees are encouraged to wear masks if they feel more comfortable, but will not be required to. Pamela was an incredible wife, mother, sister, and friend, but will always be known for her unwavering faith in Jesus Christ and her commitment to serving others.
