As we move into summer, we are continuing to take precautions in order to begin traveling again.
Currently, we have no definite travel plans, but it will be announced when we make that decision.
The decision was made to move our riverboat cruise to September 2021.
As many activities have done so, your safety is what is the priority. We hope that life will be back to normal before long.
It will be announced at a later date when the Mower County Senior Center will reopen.
Each summer, I look forward to our prickly pear cactus making its appearance. It happened this past week.
By a guess, at least 400 yellow flowers arrived and spread across the south side of our home. They only last about a week, but it certainly makes us feel like we are in Arizona.
In an earlier column, I said it’s exciting to see these grow in Minnesota.
We are practicing all the rules with our masks and staying at home. Time has been spent with projects that have been put off and getting into some baking skills, bike riding and daily walks. I hope you do some of the same so we can soon be together and ready to be on the road again.
Take care and be safe (wear your mask).
