At LIFE Mower County, we believe in the power of community and the positive impact that simple acts of kindness can have on the lives of others. That’s why we want to shine a light on the incredible work our volunteers do to support individuals of all ages with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD).
Volunteers are the heart and soul of our organization, playing a crucial role in the success of our programs and services. We see them as everyday heroes, generously giving their time to make a meaningful difference in the lives of the people and families we serve.
Whether you enjoy playing games with preschoolers, assisting a young woman in perfecting her bowling technique, or helping out with activities like bingo, crafts, or cooking, there’s a place for you at LIFE Mower County. Your unique skills and interests can find a home here, creating memorable experiences for those we support.
The opportunities to volunteer are as diverse as our community itself. You can contribute on a one-time basis during our special events or become a regular volunteer, working closely with individuals and families in our various programs and activities. The choice is yours, and the impact is boundless.
Your involvement could be the highlight of someone’s day, providing joy, companionship, and a sense of community. Every small effort adds up to create a supportive and inclusive environment that fosters growth and happiness. If you’re ready to embark on a rewarding journey with us, please reach out!
You can contact us at 507-433-8994 or drop us an email at info@lifemowercounty.org. We can’t wait to welcome you to the LIFE Mower County family and share the joy of making a positive impact on the lives of those we serve.
Thank you for considering joining us in this wonderful adventure of giving back and spreading kindness. Together, we can make a world of difference!
