Austin Bruins defenseman Kaden Muir helped the Bruins get back on track with a weekend sweep of their home-and-and home series against the North Iowa Bulls and he was rewarded with NAHL Central Division Star of the Week honors. 

The native of Toronto, Ontario, recorded four points in the two wins and was a plus one. On Friday, Muir had a goal and an assist in a 5-3 home win. On Saturday, he had two assists in a 5-2 road win. For the season, Muir has recorded nine points in 16 games played. 

“Kaden has been playing really well despite having a few injuries earlier in the season. He’s a difference maker for us on the backend and we are a much better team when he is in the line-up. Our entire staff is extremely proud that Kaden has been recognized for his recent play and we look forward to him following that up,” said Bruins head coach Steve Howard.
