Proposals for construction of projects as listed below will be submitted electronically to Mower County Public Works, 1105 8th Avenue N.E., Austin, MN 55912, until 1:00 o’clock P.M., on February 8th, 2024.
MILL BITUMINOUS SURFACE, COLD INPLACE RECYCLING, BITUMINOUS OVERLAY, AGGREGATE SHOULDERS
SAP 050-605-017; located on CSAH 5 (130th St.) from TH 218 to CSAH 7 from the SW Cor Sec 13 to SE Cor Sec 17 in Nevada and Adams Townships. Approximate length: 9.065 miles. The approximate major quantities of work are: 8,514 TON Shoulder Base Aggregate Class 2; 541 TON Bituminous Material for mixture; 20,053 TON Type SP 12.5 Wearing Course Mixture (3,C); 132,393 SY Cold-in-place Recycled / Cold Central Plant Recycling Bituminous. As a proposal guaranty, each proposal must be accompanied by a bidder’s bond or certified check in the amount of at least 5% of the total amount of the proposal, made payable to the Treasurer of Mower County, Minnesota.
The Board of County Commissioners reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and to waive defects therein and to award to other than the lowest bidder if it is in the best interest of the County.
