Area downgraded to winter weather advisory
The area is looking at getting its first measurable snowfall totals due to a storm that has begun moving through the area.
Snow is expected to continue for much of this morning with another inch of snow possible, mainly before 11 a.m. After that, conditions are expected to turn blustery with northwest winds expected to increase and gusts of 30-40 mph.
The area remains under a winter weather advisory, a downgrade from the winter storm watch it initially posted and will be in effect through to 6 a.m. on Wednesday.
Expect travel to be impacted by this system.
Blustery cold is expected to continue through the rest of the week with snow again possible closer to the weekend.
