Patricia K. Tallman, 84

Patricia K. Tallman, age 84, of Austin, Minnesota, passed away on Monday, January 15, 2024, at Sacred Heart Care Center in Austin. Patricia Kay Slowinski was born on September 1, 1939, in Corwith, Iowa, to Wallace and Manetta (Halvorson) Slowinski. Patricia graduated from Austin High School in 1957. Following graduation, Patricia attended airline school in Minneapolis. She worked as a counselor for the Sheriff’s Department youth program for 24 years before her retirement. Patricia enjoyed gardening and preparing holiday meals. Most of all she loved spending time with her family and friends.

Patricia is survived by her daughter, Melody Wynia of Austin; grandson, Chase (Lyna) Wynia of Austin; great-granddaughter, Nadia Hummel of Austin; and siblings, Marvin (Renee) Slowinski, John (Sindy) Slowinski, Antoinette King, Cynthia Leedom, and James Slowinski. She was preceded in death by her husband, Perry Tallman; parents, Wallace and Manetta Slowisnki; and sister, Vici Biddix.

The funeral service for Patricia will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, January 24, 2024, at Worlein Funeral Home Chapel in Austin. The visitation will take place one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Interment will be in Oakwood Cemetery, Austin.
