SMART Transit will be shutting down service tonight at 6 p.m. for all four sites — Austin, Albert Lea, Owatonna and Waseca — due to inclement weather.

According to SMART Transit Director Kirk Kuchera, Austin overnight work service will operate on plowed roads only and at driver discretion.

Routes will resume normal operations Saturday as scheduled.
