Julie Ann Dupont, 54, of Austin, Minnesota, passed away peacefully on March 2, 2024, surrounded by her family in Dexter, Minnesota.
Julie was born May 2nd, 1969, in Pawtucket, Rhode Island to Oscar Rainville Sr. and Priscilla Prive. Julie had a passion in the transportation industry. She grew up in a family of avid truck drivers and she aspired to be one herself. Julie moved to Minnesota in 1987 where she and her first husband, Tom Mork, had three beautiful daughters. Julie graduated from Riverland Community College with her truck driving certificate and bought her very own semi in 2001. Julie’s passion for truck driving continued throughout her adult life. While driving semi across the country, she met the love of her life, Christopher. They married in 2005 in Austin Minnesota where they resided.
Julie’s passions grew much greater than truck driving when her grandchildren were born. If Julie did anything perfect, it was being a grandmother to her grandbabies. Julie enjoyed traveling and took at least one of the grandchildren on almost every one of her trips. Julie and her best friend, who was also her sister, spent much time together. They enjoyed taking car rides, going to the casinos, visiting their childhood home area, and reminiscing about their childhood memories. Julie was one of the most generous and loving people and touched many lives with her presence. If you knew Julie, you would know how much she loved her animals.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Priscilla Prive; father, Oscar Rainville Sr., stepfather, Donald Standy; brothers, Richard and George; sister, Julia; and grandson, Charlie.
Julie is survived by her husband, Christopher Dupont of Austin, MN; daughters, Priscilla (Claire) Diggins of Austin, MN, Danielle Mork of Austin, MN, Brandee (Christopher) McNutt of Owatonna, MN; sister, Karen Rainville of Rochester, MN; brother, Oscar Rainville Jr. of Austin, MN; son-in-law, Kyle Diggins of Austin, MN; her precious grandchildren, Kylee, Hunter, Bailey and Averie; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
The family would like to extend a special thanks to Regency Home Health Care and St. Croix Hospice for their dedication and support.
