Charles L. Dibble, 50

Charles Lawrence Dibble, age 50, of Hastings, Minnesota, died Saturday, April 13, 2024, at his home in Hastings. Charley was born on October 5, 1973, at St. Olaf Hospital in Austin, Minnesota to Charles John Dibble and Cynthia Young. He graduated from Austin High School in 1992 and went on to receive his certificate from Austin Community College in graphic design. Charley worked as a printing press operator until he had a health scare followed by a debilitating fall. He loved playing video games, watching movies, disc golfing, reading, playing cards and cribbage, and listening to classical music as well as a variety of rock and heavy metal music. In his younger years he enjoyed playing sports and biking; he loved being outdoors. He liked animals, especially his cats. Charley will be remembered for his great sense of humor.

Charley is survived by his father, Charles J. (Alice) Dibble of Pemberton, Minnesota; mother, Cynthia Young-Johnson of Austin; sister, Carrie (Al) Parker of Waseca, Minnesota; brother, Alexander (Emily Self) Lohn of Kansas City, Missouri; good friend and roommate, Johnny Stocker of Hasting, Minnesota; nephews, Andrew (Melissa Sierra) Parker, Cameron Parker, Silas Lohn; great nephews and niece, Nathan, Mythais, Dexter, and Vanellope; uncle, Kenneth (Joanne) Dibble; and many cousins. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Lawrence and Barbara Young, paternal grandparents, Charles B. and Bessie Dibble, and many great aunts and uncles.

Memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 11, 2024, at Worlein-Hoff Funeral Home in Austin. The visitation will take place two hours before the service on Saturday at the funeral home. Worlein-Hoff Funeral Homes are assisting the family with arrangements.
