Marvin Albert Hemann, 65, of Garrison Minnesota, passed away on Wednesday, April 24, 2024.
Marvin was born May 26, 1958, to Raymond and Beatrice Hemann and grew up on the family farm near Johnsburg, Minnesota. He graduated from Southland High School in 1977. In combination with his career at IBM, Marvin was a woodworking craftsman in Mantorville Minnesota.
Marvin moved to Arizona where he co-owned with his son, Jason, the Kitchen AZ cabinet business. Marvin loved the outdoors and was happiest hunting and fishing, especially with his family. He enjoyed road trips on his motorcycle and spending time with his grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by father, Raymond, and sister, Sharon.
Marvin is survived by his mother, Beatrice Hemann, Adams MN; sons, Jason (Abby) Hemann, Garrison MN, Brandon Hemann, Rochester MN, daughter, Kara (Chris) Nakamura, Phoenix AZ; and their mother, Lori Stueber; grandchildren include, Isabella, James, Rikka and Yuina; brothers, Ronald (Bonnie) Hemann, Jerome (Roxan) Hemann, Daryl (Judy) Hemann; sisters, Janice Bergstrom (Julian), Elaine May, Audrey Schroeder (Steve), Mary Maiers (Steve); along with many nieces and nephews.
A memorial mass will be celebrated at 11 am on Friday, May 3rd at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Adams with Father James Berning officiating. There will be a 4:45 pm rosary on Thursday, May 2nd at the Adams Funeral Home followed by visitation from 5-7 pm. Visitation will be at the church one hour before the service on Friday. Interment will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery.
