Myles R. Bang, 80

Myles R. Bang, age 80, of Faribault, died Sunday, April 14, 2024, at Mill City, Faribault.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.

Myles Randolph was born December 26, 1943, in Austin and graduated from Elkton High School. Myles was a man of music and talented musician. He was bandmate of the bands – Revelles, Cruisers and Wanderers, a guitar instructor for Eastman Music and a local bartender. Myles owned a DJ business, Myles Music Mania and also worked as a dispensing optician for many years at Duling Optical, Walmart Optical and for Dr. Dyson.

Survivors include his children, Daniel (and Cyndi) Christensen of Texas, Jeffrey (and Ann) Bang of Florida, Lisa Vogelsberg, Mikki Bang and Nicholas Joy all of Minnesota; grandchildren, Rachel Christensen, Tyler Christensen, Caleb Bang-Villa, Danielle Christensen, Blake Halstead, Josie Happel and Sheldon Sobey; brother, George (and Judy) Bang; sister-in-law, Judy Bang; other relatives and friends.

Myles was preceded in death by his parents, Amy and Luther Bang; daughter, Leilani Bang; son in law, Robert Vogelsberg; and brothers, Carlyle Curtis Thomsen and William Luther Bang.
