Duplicate Bridge is played Tuesdays and Wednesdays at the Senior Center in Austin, MN; if this is a game that interests you, come join us on either day, play starts at 11 30 am; bring your favorite partner or call Joyce at 437 2750 and she will line you up with  someone. Tuesdays group played five full tables; winners were

Third place, Barb and Orrion Roisen

Fourth place, Larry Crowe and Rick Stroup

Fifth place, Barb Rofshus and Joyce Kogel

Wednesdays tables swelled to five and half tables, winners were:

First place (tie), John Leisen and Rick Stroup and Gail Schmidt and Dave Ring

Third place, Ron Peters and Vandy Newman

Fourth place,  Tom Flaherty and Dave Ruen

Fifth place, Mike Liedal and Cal Ripple

Sixth place, Barb and Orrin Roisen

Players still returning from the south, Mason City, Albert Lea, Rose Creek, and  Austin. Players come early and enjoy lunch at the Senior Cafe which opens for serving at 11 a.m.

As we walked through the players one day, we overheard a remark about the fact we never heard of a runner up. We do that quite often, such as a one half point makes the difference between placing or not placing. We will start reporting runner-ups, which means teams will be listed, but will not be in the money.
