Ralph Dean Bryant, 71

Ralph Dean Bryant, age 71, of Austin, Minnesota, passed away on Thursday, May 23, 2024, at Mayo Clinic Health System – Austin. Ralph was born on November 5, 1952, in Rochester, Minnesota, to Deane Thomas and Alice Louise (Hofner) Bryant. He graduated from Austin High School in 1971. Following graduation, Ralph enlisted in the United States Army and served our country in Vietnam. Ralph’s pride and passion for our military was steadfast. After his honorable discharge from the service, Ralph attended Albert Lea VoTech, studying to become a Journeyman Electrician. Ralph was an electrician at various nuclear power plants in Denver, Phoenix, and Dallas. He was a proud member of the IBEW Local Union 292 since 1979. As a young boy, Ralph developed an interest in motorcycles. This love of motorcycles remained with him throughout his life. Ralph was a longtime member of Grace Lutheran Church in Austin. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Ralph is survived by his sister, Theresa (Steve) Moore; nephew, Derek Moore; aunt, Arlene Chapek; and many cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents, Deane and Alice. The funeral service for Ralph will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, May 31, 2024, at Worlein-Hoff Funeral Home in Austin. The visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Interment will be at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 4, 2024, at Fort Snelling National Cemetery, Minneapolis, Minnesota. Worlein-Hoff Funeral Homes are assisting the family with arrangements.
