Two were injured following a Saturday afternoon crash in rural Mower County.

Donna Marie Hall, 86, of Kasson, and Gloria Ann Olson, 87, of Grand Meadow, were traveling westbound in a 2021 Ford Ecosport on Highway 16 when the crash occurred, according to the Minnesota State Patrol. At around Mile Marker 208, it went off the roadway and into the ditch, colliding with a telephone pole.

The crash happened at around 12:54 p.m.

Both women were taken to St. Mary’s Hospital in Rochester with non-life threatening injuries. 

The Grand Meadow Fire Department, Mower County Sheriff’s Office and Grand Meadow Ambulance responded.
