Shirley Playle (Back)

Born in Austin, MN on November 2, 1938, to David and Dorothy (Lowe) Back. Shirley died peacefully at her home surrounded by her family on June 20, 2024. Shirley worked for the Austin Public Schools at Southgate Elementary and Austin High School in the Principal’s office. She also worked for Northwest Bell and retired from US West. She loved gambling and playing cards and games with her family. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Bill and her brothers, Eugene, Gary and Allen. Shirley is survived by her son, Scott Playle, her daughters, Penny Beattie (Dennis), Stacey Opsahl (Eric) and Tracey Tokheim (Troy), her brother Keith Back (Norma), Sister-In-Laws, Judy Back and Mona Back and seven grandchildren, Katie, Elizabeth, Meghan, Rebecca, Luke, Logan and Elijah and six great grandchildren: Mackenzie, Olivia, Carter, Jack,Bennett and Jett. She was blessed with many other family members and friends.
