The Austin Post 1216 VFW baseball team had its season come to an end as it lost a couple of nail-biters in the District Finals in Northfield this past weekend.

Austin (15-6 overall) lost to top-seeded Northfield 8-7 in the first game and it fell to Rochester Mayo 5-4 in the eliminator.

Rob Lillis went 5-for-8 with a homer, a double and four RBIs over the weekend for Austin.
