The City of Austin will be spraying for mosquitos on the following date on Friday
According to a Tuesday release, this date is tentative due to weather conditions, wind and rain having the greatest impact to scheduling.
This will be a ground application and spraying will start after 7 p.m. and will continue throughout the night. The chemical that is used is not harmful to humans, animals, or plants.
The spray is designed to target the adult mosquito.
