I wonder if there is a way the GOP might consider talking about policies, how they are going to “fix” whatever they perceive as wrong in our country, what they have actually done, ( i.e. build the wall and have Mexico pay for it)?

How they intend to continue the trickledown theoryof the Reagan era that again took from the poor and gave to the rich and their rational behind caring only for the rich. When will the poor masses who stand behind someone as psychologically sick as anyone I’ve ever treated in my career see that they are being bamboozled with lies  and  misinformation; no structure of what they intend to do to help the middle class regain their position in our country. Without the middle class we have no democracy. We have an oligarchy where 1/10th of 1 percent make the rules, live high on the hog and don’t care about taking away Medicare, Social Security, voting rights,  Medicare, etc. from the rest of the 99%, but they want women to have more babies in a planet that already has over eight billion souls.

They  do not look past their noses to see that a finite planet cannot support an infinite number of humans?

So back to where I started this — let’s get a real debate going between the two parties, and no mud slinging allowed. That would never been okay in a college debate —name calling, is a sign of emotional weakness and bullying. I want to hear what both parties have in mind for the future of this country, of democracy and as soon as meanness comes into the equation. It’s time to mute the  TV until adults show up to really talk about what is needed for this fragile democracy.  I really shouldn’t care as much as I do since i do not have kids, am old and won’t live much longer to see what havoc and destruction will come to this country if we don’t step outside of our egos and start working on solutions.
