The University of Minnesota Extension and Lawler Farms will host a field day from 4-7 p.m. on Sept. 10, focusing on the A – Z of cover crop strategies.

The field is located at Steve Lawler’s place in Eyota (44.023910, -92.341220), and will highlight keeping the ground covered via interseeding cover crops into soybeans/corn and harvestable cash crops like Winter Camelina/oats.

There will be speakers from Albert Lea Seed, UMN Extension, Forever Green Initiative, Minnesota Ag Water Quality Program (MAWQCP), Olmsted SWCD, MN Soil Health Coalition, and NRCS.
