The Austin Greyhounds advanced in the Region 5C tournament when they took down Pine Island 7-1 in Hastings Sunday night.

Hounds veteran Joe Huffman struck out 13 in the complete game win as he hurled 143 pitches.

The Hound will now take on the Stewartville-Racine Sharks at 7:30 p.m. Friday night in Owatonna.
