Jason Hagedorn, 56

Jason Robert Hagedorn, 56, of Austin, formerly of Blue Earth, Minnesota, passed away Friday, August 2, 2024 at Mayo Clinic Hospitals, Methodist Campus in Rochester, Minnesota.
Jason was born October 14, 1967 in Blue Earth, Minnesota to Robert and Doris (Brandt) Hagedorn. He graduated from Blue Earth High School in 1986 and attended St. Cloud State University. He married Nicole “Nikki” Ehrich on April 1, 1995 at Shiloh Lutheran Church in Elmore, Minnesota. They had two sons together, Caleb and Kyle. Jason and Nikki later divorced. He started working for Scenic Sign in Sauk Rapids until 2003 when Jason began working for Precision Signs in Austin. He commuted to Austin from Blue Earth for many years until moving to Austin about seven years ago.
Jason was a past member of Trinity Lutheran Church. He was an avid sports fan, especially of his Los Angeles Rams football team. Jason loved his sons and was a proud grandpa to his granddaughter, Virginia. A life cut too short, Jason was loved and cared for by many friends who will miss him dearly.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Jason is survived by his sons, Caleb (Tiarra) Hagedorn of Frost, Minnesota and Kyle Hagedorn of New Ulm, Minnesota; granddaughter, Virginia Hagedorn; brother, Travis (Deann) Hagedorn of Kasson, Minnesota.
It was Jason’s wish to not have a service. He will be interred by his parents at Riverside Cemetery in Blue Earth, Minnesota.
