Beginning Oct. 1, Grand Meadow Senior Living and Green Lea Manor care communities in Grand Meadow and Mabel will be under new management.
LSI Consulting, a leader in senior healthcare management for independent long-term care communities in rural Minnesota, will assume the management contract for both care communities, bringing with them a wealth of experience in revitalizing and supporting senior care communities in rural Minnesota. LSI will work in collaboration with Minnewaska Community Health Services to bring additional support, expertise and resources.
LSI Consulting specializes in empowering senior living communities to remain autonomous while providing strategic support to enhance operations.
With a proven track record in managing healthcare communities, LSI Consulting in conjunction with Minnewaska Community Health Services will focus on strengthening the services and resources available to Grand Meadow and Green Lea, ensuring they continue to evolve to meet the needs of local seniors and the employees.
“We are grateful for this opportunity to continue our mission of providing exceptional care to rural communities,” said Pete Madel III and Christopher Knoll, owner of LSI Consulting and CEO of Minnewaska Community Health Services. “Our team’s experience in supporting small-town health care systems aligns perfectly with the needs of Grand Meadow and Green Lea. We are committed to preserving the unique culture of the community and economy of the area by maintaining local jobs and ensuring residents have high-quality care close to home.”
LSI Consulting’s approach will focus on adapting to the evolving senior care landscape, particularly in the post-pandemic environment. Their team is prepared to address these challenges with a hands-on approach, ensuring both care communities remain integral parts of the local economy and support system for seniors and their families.
“We’re excited to roll up our sleeves and get to work,” Knoll said. “The senior care industry has undergone significant changes in recent years, and we are ready to lead these communities through the next phase of growth and innovation.”
