The Austin Bruins opened the NAHL Showcase on a strong note when they beat the Elmira Aviators 6-1 in Blaine Wednesday.

Luc Malkhassian scored three goals to go with an assist for the Bruins (2-0 overall) and he now has nine points in just two games.
