A 59-year-old Kasson man was injured early Monday evening stemming from a two-vehicle crash near Hayfield.

Dean Patrick Holets was taken to St. Marys Rochester Mayo Clinic with non-life threatening injuries after the 1998 GMC Sierra he was driving southbound on Highway 56 collided at the intersection with 710th Street in Dodge County with a 2015 Ram pick-up driven by Wyatt David Heins, 29, of Stewartville, which was traveling westbound on 710th.

Neither Heins, nor his passenger, 19-year-old Michael Palermo, were injured.

The crash happened at around 6:15 p.m. Monday and Hayfield Ambulance and the Dodge County Sheriff’s Office responded.
