The Southland volleyball team stayed focused on defense in the back row as it held off Lyle-Pacelli by scores of 25-15, 25-18, 21-25, 25-21 in Adams Thursday.

Maren Wehrenberg had 35 set assists and 18 digs for the Rebels (2-1 overall) and Abby Sorgatz had 21 digs.

Carleigh Rymer had 54 digs for LP (2-6 overall) and Audrey Wilde had six kills.
