The No. 2 seeded Blooming Prairie football team ousted No. 7 Kenyon-Wanamingo 39-8 in a Section 1A quarterfinal in BP Tuesday.

BP senior Brady Kittelson threw for 238 yards and a score, he ran for 86 yards, and he had two interceptions on defense, including one for a score.

BP (8-1 overall) led 32-0 at halftime.

The Blossoms will now host No. 3 Fillmore Central in a Section 1A semifinal at 1 p.m. Saturday. The Blossoms edged out the Falcons 42-34 in overtime on Sept. 7.

The Falcons beat No. 6 Hayfield 48-14 on Tuesday.
