The voters in the Minnesota House Legislative District 23B have a great opportunity this year to make a strong statement on what is important to them at the state level. Joe Pacovsky has stepped forward to offer his vast experience of growing up on a farm east of Glenville and 35 years in utility management to address the challenges that face our great state. Despite the doom and gloom that routinely spills out from the GOP, Minnesota stands out as an economic leader based on a recent CNBC survey which rated the state as having the 6th best business climate in the nation. As the DFL candidate in District 23B, Joe will do his part to continue this strong record by focusing on the following priorities:
• Promote economic growth
• Promote women’s reproductive rights
• Preserve the environment
• Promote strong schools
These priorities reflect Joe’s commitment to making this a better world for everyone, especially the generations who will follow us. For example, if we don’t confront the realities of climate change and preserving the environment, all the other priorities will be significantly compromised. Given the weather extremes of recent years, the time for sustained action is now. And protecting women’s reproductive rights is a basic human right and need. Economic growth and strong schools go hand in hand.
Joe has spent much time in recent months knocking on doors, listening to people’s concerns. As your representative in 23B, he will make certain that these concerns are translated into specific action plans at the state legislature.
