To quote Susan Jacoby in her book “ Freethinkers:” It is one of the greatest unsolved paradoxes of American history that religion has come to occupy such an important place in the public life of a nation founded on the separation of church and state.”

It blows my mind how many who would vote for a twice impeached felon and a convicted sexual rapist, one who cares only for his own future.

I hear that those voting for him are doing so mainly because they think he can handle the border issue better, but may I remind those who don’t dig further into this way of thinking of the song we all learned in Sunday School called “Jesus Loves the Little Children.” All of them, red and yellow, black and white, they are precious in his sight. So, go back to the WWJD — would he seriously forbid people of color to find a better life away from the horrors they are leaving?  I don’t think so.

There is the promise from Trump of a better economy. Right now the DOW sits at 42,352, unemployment is at a record 50 year low, wages up 4.5% and inflation at 2.5%. Considering what President Biden and Kamala Harris had to do to fix the mess Trump caused and all the deaths with his refusal to listen to scientific facts. I personally see where we are at as a win from the current administration.  And, again, it is not up to any political branch of government to deal  with the interest rates. That is up to the Federal Reserve Bank, an independent facility not connected to any party and never has been. It truly saddens me that our level of education throughout this country has brought us to the potential brink of losing a democracy that we fought for in many past wars. Please people, educate yourselves before voting for greed and corruption in November.  Please save this country for future generations, all over the world, I might add, because he will be in bed with other oligarchs. He doesn’t want to make “America Great Again”, he wants to make Americans hate again.

This is a sad truth. His psychological makeup is that of a very sick soul.
