The Joseph Company, headquartered in Austin, received the Eagle Award from the Associated Builders & Contractors (ABC) for Excellence in Construction (EIC).  This recognition is the highest level of building performance possible to contractors in the construction industry.  Specifically, Joseph’s EIC award was related to the successful completion of the structural restoration of First Lutheran Church in Decorah, Iowa, a 160-year-old worship facility.

“All the credit goes to our supervisory and frontline staff who creatively designed structural modifications to the roof trusses and concrete foundations to prepare this iconic church for another 150 years & beyond,” said Joseph Company President Carter Wagner.

ABC is a national construction industry trade association representing more than 23,000 members across the country.
