Austin senior Ajiem Agwa picked up where she left off as the Packer girls basketball team cruised to a 69-46 season opening win in Ove Berven Gym Tuesday.
Agwa poured in 28 points to lead the charge, while Marissa Shute scored 12 points and Addison Walsh added 10.
“Ajiem was silky smooth as usual,” Austin head coach Eric Zoske said. “Nyabol Mourwal (who transferred back to Austin from Rochester John Marshall) scored the first points of the night and Addison Walsh did a great job in her first start. Our experience carried us tonight.”
