Edward G. Wolf, 89

Edward “Tubby” George Wolf, age 89 of Adams, Minnesota, died on Sunday, December 22, 2024 at St. Mark’s Living in Austin, Minnesota.
Born to Edward and Regina (Hemann) Wolf July 28, 1935 in Stacyville, Iowa, he served in the US Army from 1955-1956. Due to his father’s passing, he was given an honorable discharge to return home and work the family farm, which he did for the next 35 years before moving to Adams, Minnesota. Ed took great pride in the farm and loved caring for his livestock and the land.
Ed married Delores Epping in 1958, they later divorced. He married June Gladitsch on July 19, 1975 at Little Cedar Lutheran Church in Adams, Minnesota. He worked for Joseph Construction in Austin, Minnesota and then the Mower County Highway Department until his retirement. After retirement, he worked part time at Cedar River Country Club.
Ed was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, the American Legion Post 146 and the Eagles Club. He enjoyed his yard work, fishing, the Minnesota Twins and Vikings, and spending time with family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; granddaughters, Shelby Miller, Julene Monteleone, and Brandi Rudd; step-sons, Lon and Delvin Gladitsch; sons-in-law, Keith Wilhelm and David Hill; brothers, Raymond, Clem, and Joseph; sisters, Mildred, Dorothy, and Kathleen.
Ed is survived by his wife, June Wolf; children: Michael Wolf, Lisa (James) Miller and David Wolf; stepchildren: DeYonne (Paul) Farr, Vickie (special friend, Dale) Hill, Kevin (Sheila) Gladitsch, and Bryan Gladitsch; 13 grandchildren; many great grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren; brother: Robert (Geraldine) Wolf; sister: Julie (Mike) Goodman; sister-in-law: Marian Wolf.
Sincere thanks to the many friends that gave Ed rides to his many appointments and to Cedar Court Senior Living, St. Croix Hospice and St. Mark’s Living for their wonderful care.
