Janice K. Regner

Janice Kay (Block) Regner passed away peacefully on Sunday, December 29, 2024 at her home in Rochester, surrounded by her family.

Janice was born May 16, 1939, in Austin, Minnesota to Willard and Ruth (Cox) Block. She graduated from Pacelli High School in Austin. On September 6, 1958, she married Kenneth Regner at St. Augustine Catholic Church in Austin.

Janice enjoyed her life as a wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and homemaker. She loved traveling with her husband and friends and was happy to say, “I’ve been everywhere man.” She spent her free time being creative with her needlework including knitting dishrags for all her family and friends. Janice had a love of cooking, and her delicious desserts were often requested. She was a volunteer and member of multiple clubs in the communities she lived in.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Willard and Ruth Block; and grandsons, Jacob Regner and Michael Tray.

Janice is survived by her husband, Ken of Rochester, MN; children, Kim (Jim) Greer of Austin, MN, Kelly (Craig) Lady of Austin, MN and Tony (Laura) Regner of Rochester, MN; grandchildren, Sara Greer of Columbia Heights, MN, Paul Tray of Kasson, MN, Stephanie Eslinger of Whispering Pines, NC, Samantha Eslinger of Austin, MN, Taylor Lady of Stevens Point, WI, Jessica Kroll of Brainerd, MN, and Kristin Regner of St. Paul, MN; 6 great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews; three brothers and their spouses.

Please join Jan’s family at Clasen-Jordan Mortuary on Friday, January 3, 2025 from 9 am – 11:30 am to celebrate her life. A prayer service will be held at 10 am with Father Andrew Beerman officiating. Private interment will take place at a later date.
