Jayne A. Nash, age 68, of Austin, Minnesota, passed away on Friday, December 6, 2024, at the Cedars of Austin. Jayne Ann Leidal was born on August 6, 1956, in Austin, Minnesota, to Quinten and Imogene (Cafourek) Leidal. Jayne was united in marriage to Gary Nash. She worked for many years as a caregiver for individuals with disabilities. Her caring nature was evident not only in her profession but also in every facet of her life. In her free time, Jayne enjoyed crafts and crocheting, particularly cross-stitching. She also liked playing cards, especially 500, and enjoyed camping with her family and friends. Jayne had a clever and quick sense of humor which helped provide her with strength as she faced various health challenges. Most of all, we will remember the love and kindness she showed to all.
Jayne is survived by her husband, Gary; sons, Travis (Liz) Kellner, Wesley Kellner, and Tyler Nash; grandchildren, Piper Kellner, Teagen Nash, and Liam Nash; brothers, Mike (Karen) Leidal, Bob Leidal, and Jerry Leidal; sisters-in-law, Jan (Dennis) Harmer, Jeannie (Brent) Crump, and Joy (Ron) Louters; brothers-in-law, Randy Nash, Mike Hall, and Steve Hall; many nieces and nephews; and other loving relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Quinten and Imogene; brother, Steve Leidal; brothers-in-law, Rick and Scott Nash; sister-in-law, Gail Nash; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Rosella and Kenneth Nash; and mother-in law, Frances Nash.
The memorial service for Jayne will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, December 12, 2024, at Cornerstone Church in Austin. The visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at church.
