Suzanne (Hanf) Kuether Roberts, age 84, of Austin, Minnesota passed away on Wednesday, December 11, 2024, in Umatilla, Florida.
Suzanne Alteen Hanf was born November 3, 1940, at St. Olaf Hospital in Austin. She spent her years of school at Columbus Grade School, Villa Maria Academy in Frontenac and graduated from Pacelli High School in 1958. She went to Minneapolis where she attended Gale Institute of Business. Suzanne worked as a secretary at First National Bank in Minneapolis. Later moving back to Austin, she met and married Jame Kuether. Together they had three children, Gina, Michael, and Staci, the joys of their life. They spent many years with their children doing horse shows and taking trips with them.
Suzanne worked as a bookkeeper at the Glass Shop, clerk at Younkers, and later became the manager of the SYP Thrift Store for 16 years. She also volunteered there after retiring.
Suzanne later married Sherbun Roberts. They wintered in Florida for many years and did a lot of traveling. Her favorite pastimes were puzzles, reading, antiquing, and going to lunches with family and friends.
Survivors include her daughters, Gina DelPizzo and Staci (Michael) Andrews; son, Michael Kuether; stepchildren, Ginger (Brent) Carson, Stephen (Tammy) Roberts, and Greg (Amy) Roberts; sister, Angela Hanf; 12 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and her beloved companion, Stellie.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, James Kuether; second husband, Sherbun Roberts; parents, Eugene and Florence Hanf; brother, Robert; infant brother and sisters.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 28, 2024, at Queen of Angels Catholic Church in Austin, with visitation one hour prior to the service. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery in Austin. Memorials are preferred to Pacelli High School or St. Jude’s Research Hospital. Worlein-Hoff Funeral Homes are assisting the family with arrangements.
