The totals regarding snow have been slightly upgraded for today as snow fall across the area.

According to the National Weather Service, snow will continue through into this afternoon with a chance of 2-4 inches possible by the time it’s all over. As such, the area has been placed into a winter weather advisory until 3 a.m. Friday morning.

People should expect slippery roads that could impact travel

The wind is also expected to be breezy with a south wind of 9 to 15 mph switching to the northwest Thursday afternoon. Winds could gust as high as 28 mph.

A slight chance of snow will be present Thursday evening.
