Austin senior Sam Winkels put together a historic night as he recorded his 100th career win as the Packer wrestling team lost to Albert Lea 66-11, while falling to the Westfield Razorbacks 42-29 in AL Thursday.

Winkels, who is currently ranked No. 2 at 285-pounds in Class AA, is now 7-0 after he pinned Evan Schroeder of Albert Lea and pinned Wyatt Arndt of Westfield.

Senior Joel Thawng is also 7-0 as he beat AL’s Breezy Garner 17-1 and beat Westfield’s Bentely Miller 7-1.

Jaxon Learn, Michael Garry, William Mullenbach and Trenton Whiteaker all had a win over Westfield for Austin.

For Westfield, Peyton Lembke went 2-0 at 114, Cannon Wacek went 2-0 at 145 and Alex Lea went 2-0 at 189.
