The Austin Area Foundation has recognized and thanked long time executive board member Darrell Ingvaldson who is stepping down from the board but will remain active in supporting the foundation.  

Additionally,  Taggert Medgaarden was thanked as outgoing chair, recognizing him for the many achievements the board attained during his time in leadership including navigating major land gifts and leadership transitions.

At its annual meeting on Jan. 23, the board voted for and approved the following as officers for 2025:  Chair, Emily Toland; Vice Chair, Catherine Haslag; Secretary, Peggy Benzkofer; Treasurer, Isaac Gorman; Immediate Past Chair, Taggert Medgaarden.
