A 53-year-old Austin man was taken to the hospital Sunday afternoon after he was involved in a single-vehicle crash in Olmsted County.

According to the Minnesota State Patrol, Christopher Paul Gilmer, 53, was traveling eastbound in a 2019 Nissan Titan on Interstate 90 when it left the road and rolled near mile marker 209.

The crash took place at around 3:19 p.m.

Gilmer was transported to St. Marys Rochester Mayo Clinic with non-life threatening injuries.

The Olmsted County Sheriff’s Department, Stewartville Fire Department and Mayo Ambulance also responded.
