David P. Walerak, 75

David Paul Walerak, age 75, passed away at Wildwood Grove in LeRoy, Minnesota on January 14, 2025. David was born in Austin, Minnesota on March 24, 1949, and attended elementary school in Austin before moving to Richfield, Minnesota with his family. David was employed as a night custodian for many years in the Twin Cities area. He moved back to Austin from Shakopee, Minnesota in 2021 in order to be closer to his cousins.

David was preceded in death by his parents, Shirley and Frank Walerak; and his brothers, Richard Walerak and Frank Walerak. He is survived by his sister-in-law, Shirley of Stacy, Minnesota; cousins, Axel (Renea) Hansen of Austin, Fran Stark of Minneapolis, Michael (Anne) Koch of Austin, as well as Jerry, Bob, and Tom Walerak.

A private family service for David will be held at a later date with interment in Grandview Cemetery.
