Lori L. Rauen, 66

Lori Lee Rauen, age 66, of Austin, Minnesota, passed away on Monday, December 30, 2024, at Mayo Clinic Hospital Rochester, Saint Marys Campus. Lori was born November 20, 1958, to Oris and Sally (Jensen) Anderson, in Albert Lea, Minnesota. She graduated with the class of 1978 from Albert Lea High School. On October 28, 1978, she married Philip Rauen in Hayward, Minnesota and together had four children. Lori dedicated over 42 years as a housekeeper at St. Mark’s Retirement Home. She enjoyed tending to her garden and found great happiness in cooking bacon for her son, Randy, and his friends on Sunday mornings. She enjoyed watching and cheering on her kids and grandkids at their sporting events, especially bowling. Over the past six years, Lori was faced with many medical issues, which she fought with grace and courage. We will miss her dearly.

Survivors include her husband, Philip Rauen; son, Randy (Vanessa) Rauen; daughter, Anna (Joe Underdahl) Rauen; three grandchildren, Kaydence, Ashlyn, and Logan; siblings, Nelda (Eddie) Huberman, Kenny Anderson, Dean (Kelly) Anderson, Dale Anderson, and Paula (Gary Broitzman) Anderson; and many nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Oris and Sally Anderson; daughter, Mindy Rauen; and son, Philip Rauen III.

A memorial service for Lori will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 11, 2025, at Worlein-Hoff Funeral Home in Austin, Minnesota. The visitation will take place one hour prior to the service. A celebration of Lori’s life will be held at the VFW in Austin immediately following the service at the funeral home. Worlein-Hoff Funeral Homes are assisting the family with arrangements.
